UNWO- PDTA Driver’s skill training programs
Project objective:
To find out and provide job-assured training to youths under our initiative mission zero dropouts in rural villages who have a passion for becoming a professional driver in LMV, HMV, and Forklift operations. Training for our 1st batch consisting of 17 candidates (14 LMV,1 HMV, and 2 Forklift) was started on 27.9.2023 by our Training partner Professional Driver’s Academy – a unit of Parveen travels at their three centres namely Redhills, Madhavaram and Thazhambur.
Our students attended soft skills classes, theory on road safety, and then got training in simulator systems before going for on-road training. One of our candidate Mr. Gause Moideen got selected at the Parveen Travels branch and now he is working as a passenger bus driver. All other candidates also have received a good touch in driving through professional methods and have passed their driving test at the RTO office without any difficulties. They are waiting to join leading corporate companies through placement support from PDTA.
Our 1st batch of candidates after completing their training gathered at the UNWO office in Chennai periyamet on 19.12.2023 to receive their training certificates and driving licence from the hands of our chairman and trustees. . Our driving journey will continue in the road ahead of us to give opportunities to numerous youths to get a successful career.
